Germany’s Bresser Shows Off Its Android Tablet

Android is fast becoming the OS of choice for the burgeoning tablet industry. The open-source nature and the fact that its technically free makes it a very attractive option for developers. Here’s another one of those Android tablets, this time from Europe. Bresser, a company based in Germany, has recently shown off its new product.

Called the Bresser MID 7 tablet boasts a 7 inch, 800 x 480 pixel display and Google Android 2.1. It also has 4 gigs of memory, WiFi, 3G, USB connectivity, and an 8-hour battery – the typical package that you get from a tablet. It will sell for about 299 Euros, or $412 US. Weighing just over a pound, it seems to perform pretty well.
