Giada completes the nettop media center experience, packs in TV tuner and DVD drive

I have my own Intel Atom based media center but it’s incomplete as it is since it doesn’t play over-the-air TV and it can’t play DVDs. Giada’s Cube N7DT is a promising upgrade that can bring both of those features in one single package.

Giada Cube N7DT

  • 1.66GHz Intel Atom D510
  • NVIDIA next-gen ION
  • up to 2GB DDR3
  • 2.5″ hard drive bay
  • DVD burner
  • 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth, LAN
  • HDMI, DVI and SPDIF out
  • TV Tuner

It looks like it packs almost everything you need for a media center though there was no mention of a HD audio output, which I’m sure it has. Swap in the DVD drive with a Blu-ray one and you’re all set for a complete theatre experience. And of course, you can still browse the web, play games and do Office work on this since it is still a computer after all. No info on price and availability, yet.

    Hi there!
I’m pretty new to your blog, but am enjoying what I have read so far. This post particularly caught my

attention as my wife and I are going to Vegas for a few days in a couple months.

I got us a room at the MGM Grand for $55 per night, and it came with a few bonuses… A couple free

buffets, a couple free drinks, and a couple free club passes. I don’t even know if we will use the club

    passes, but if my wife has anything to say about it I’m sure we will. I was happy to get the buffet passes;

we went to Vegas last year and stayed at MGM and ate their buffet, it was pretty good, so having it free

will help with our food budget.

Anyway, I am interested to know what your craps strategy is, I usually play blackjack, but I am trying to

    learn craps, care to share?

    Thanks!
