Google Nexus 7 to be sold through Amazon?

Google’s first tablet the Nexus 7 is considered by many to be a Kindle Fire killer. The Kindle Fire by Amazon was a huge success, largely based on it’s low price. The Nexus 7 is equally as cheap at $199 and will be available outside of the US unlike the Kindle Fire. Despite the competition between Amazon’s 7 inch tablet, Kindle Fire and Google’s 7 inch tablet, Amazon are in talks with Google and are looking to sell the Nexus 7 through their website.

An Amazon spokesperson informed TechRadar that “People higher up in Amazon are talking to Google regarding the Nexus 7.” While it seems a strange move to many, especially when there are rumors of a Kindle Fire 2 in the works, Amazon already sell other tablets from other manufacturers with no problems.
