Google working on 10 inch Nexus tablet

Earlier this week we saw Google confirm the existence of their own branded tablet in the form of the Google Nexus 7 tablet, manufactured by Taiwanese company Asus. According to sources at Digitimes however, Google may be in the process of making a 10 inch version of the Google Nexus tablet which would compete directly with Apple’s iPad which is the biggest player in the tablet market. Chinese manufacturer Wintek are believed to be the supplies for 7 inch touch panel for the Nexus 7 and are according to sources, making 10 inch panels as well which are Google branded.
When Google may announce the Nexus’s big brother is unclear and at what price but, if they could keep the retail cost down on a 10 inch model as they have done with the Nexus 7, then it could be a huge hit. Of course, these are just rumours at the minute but, it is a very real possibility that Google could announced a bigger Nexus tablet in the near future.
