Google’s Upcoming Tablet PC’s Price Brings Cost Strain Among Other Vendors

Due to the tight rivalry among different kinds of tablet PCs today, well-known and even neophyte vendors need to go on for a hit strategy to inspire more of the targeted consumers. Mostly manufacturers believed that, one common way of maintaining the interest of the public is by having lower-priced tablet PCs.

Reports about the upcoming Google tablet has been circulating for days. Sources say that in order to contend with Amazon Kindle tablets, Google wants to collaborate with Asustek Computer to release a 7-inch budget tablet PC in May or June this year. It is then anticipated to give cost strain among other tablet vendors including Lenovo, Samsung Electronics and Acer.

The latest Kindle Fire from Amazon which is set to release in the third quarter of 2012 is said to cost between 199 and 299 US Dollars. With this, Google will price its tablet PC at $199 to even cut off the cost gain.
