GPS for the 2nd-Gen Asus Eee PC?

Asustek VP for Sales Department Kevin Lin,  announced that aside from having a touch screen panel, the 2nd generation Asus Eee PC could possibly have GPS. Lin also said that the 2nd-Gen Eee PC is set for release in May or June. And the only low down, price of the Asus Eee-PC might shoot up to around $500. But this will be well compensated by some upgrades on the Eee PC’s  RAM and SSD. The lowest RAM would be set at 1GB while the SSD will be upgraded from the previous 4GB-8GB to 8GB-12GB. Aside from its portability, but with the increase in price and some specs, it would seem that the 2nd-Gen Eee PC is gradually moving away from the sub-300 laptop category. Is this a good news or bad news?
