Handheld release 7 inch rugged tablet


On the first look of this tablet PC, it appears to look more like a cell phone than a tablet but, the Algiz 7, features a 7 inch widescreen display. It runs on an Intel Atom processor and uses Windows 7 Professional for the OS. It features 2GB of RAM, along with a 64GB SSD. Connectivity wise, it has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and optional 3G connectivity. The Algiz 7 has built in antennas and is Gobi 2000 ready. The screen is also great outside, as it uses MaxView screen technology. It also has a hot swapable battery, allowing you to change your batteries while out, without having to shut down.

Also included is a 2 mega pixel camera, with an LED flash. The device features plus IP65 and MIL-STF 810G ruggedness, allowing it be resilient against knocks and bumps. No information on pricing yet.
