HP Drops In Another 15.6″ Notebook: the Pavilion g6-1300

HP is preparing for another notebook to be launched in Japan. The product, called the Pavilion G6-1300 will have to face tough competition from the many other laptop manufacturers in said region.

For its consumers, the HP Pavilion G6-1300 offers an LCD screen that measures 15.6 inches and a high-gloss finish. It also comes in several color options to suit the user’s preferences and lifestyle. At the heart of the HP Pavilion G6-1300 is a 2.50GHz Intel Core i5-2450M processor. It is also equipped with a 750 GB hard drive and a 4 GB DDR3 RAM. It also runs on genuine Windows 7 Home Premium.

For maximum enjoyment of social media and entertainment features, it has Altec Lansing brand speakers as well as SRS Premium Audio and an integrated microphone and webcam. There are also one-touch action keys and IO ports which can be accessed at the side to facilitate file sharing to friends. Included also is a DVD Super Multi Drive as well as the standard ports and slots. Lastly, it is energy-efficient as evidenced by its Energy Star and Epeat silver marks.

The Pavilion G6-1300 will be available at the end of January at the retail price of around $908 or 70,000 Yen.
