HP EliteBook Folio 9470m and ElitePad 900 Tablet
HP is now ready to launch the notebook targeted to entrepreneurs and businessmen: the classy ultra portable notebook PC called EliteBook Folio. This Windows 8 notebook was first introduced in May. It will go on sale this Friday for $1049 and up.
HP also revealed that its first Windows 8 tablet for business, the ElitePad 900, will go on sale January next year. However, there is no word yet on how much it will cost.

HP EliteBook Folio 9470m
HP’s EliteBook Folio is just ¾ inch thin (18.95 mm). It is the company’s thinnest EliteBook as of yet. The notebook features a 14″ diagonal LED-backlit HD anti-glare (1366 x 768) screen. Users can also bid goodbye to a bagful of dongles thanks to built-in VGA, DisplayPort, Ethernet, and three USB 3.0 ports. Additionally, users can also access the Internet, corporate networks and email in more places with optional integrated HP Mobile Broadband featuring 3G and 4G LTE.
Third Generation Intel® Core™ processors with available vPro technology are built for business. Whether it’s Core™ i7, i5 or i3 dual-core processors, HP promises that users will enjoy control, security and remote manageability.

HP ElitePad 900 tablet
The ElitePad 900 looks like the other Windows 8 tablets in the market but HP touts this as “a tablet meant for the business world”. It has a flexible customizable options: Slide the HP ElitePad into the Expansion Jacket2, along with an additional Jacket Battery2 to work without worry about recharging; Dock at the office and the HP ElitePad becomes your desktop PC; The HP ElitePad Expansion Suite2 turns a true business tablet into a total business solution.

HP ElitePad 900 tablet has Windows 8 Pro operating system. It features a 1.80GHz Dual core Intel® Atom™ processor. It has a 10.1″diagonal multi-touch display with Corning® Gorilla® Glass 2. It also has a 1280×800 wide viewing angle, an 8.0 MP rear-facing camera, and a 1080p HD front-facing camera. The tablet has up to 64GB, eMMC SSD hard drive, optional HP External Optical Drive, or add additional storage with micro SD card. As for the size and weight, ElitePad 900 is under 1.5lb with 178 mm (7.00 in) height, 261 mm (10.28 in) width, and 9.2 mm (0.36 in) depth/thickness.
