HP Mini 1000 6-Cell Battery now unofficially available

If you’ve been expecting the HP Mini 1000 6-cell battery to become available for quite a while now, you’ll be glad to know that this power-extending accessory is now available, albeit unofficially. What we mean is, a 6-Cell battery that’s not officially stated as for the HP Mini 1000 can be bought directly from HP’s web site, and it works, as confirmed by one forum poster who has probably used the battery himself. This 6-Cell battery is said to be for the “HP Mini 1000 CTO PC” but apparently those last few letters don’t make a difference and this battery will indeed work with models like the HP Mini 1000.
