HP Mini 2102 added to HP website

Like the HP Mini 5102, the 2102 is aimed more at the business market. In fact, the 2102 is handled by the HP business diversion. The HP Mini 2102 is essentially the same as the 210 but, the business orientated model. This means it has a higher price tag but, it also means there’s more customisation options.

The netbook has just been added to the HP website, where you can customize the specs and order the netbook. The current lowest priced option is at $447 but, it’s likely that HP will also add a Smart Buy configuration to this netbook, like the 5102, making it even cheaper.

The netbook features a 10.1 inch display, with a resolution of 1024×600, which is not changeable, along with the Intel Atom N450 processor. Specs which are changeable include RAM, with a choice of 1GB or 2GB, hard drive size (160GB/250GB/320GB) and a choice between a 3 cell or 6 cell battery. Bluetooth is optional and the WLAN can be upgraded from 802.11b/g to also include 802.11n. You also have the choice between 5 operating systems, Windows 7 Starter or Pro, Windows XP, FreeDOS or SUSE Linux 11.
