HP Mini 5101 Got Cloned in China
Somewhere in China appeares what seems to be an HP Mini 5101 netbook. But if you take a closer look, you’d immediately noticed that this particular netbook is actually different from the HP 5101. While the HP Mini 5101 only has a 10.1 inch display, this 5101 clone however got 11.6 inches of display goodness.
The said netbook was manufactured by a Chinese PC maker Phecda and includes not as good as the real HP 5101 specs such as an Intel Atom N270 processor, 1GB of RAM, 160GB of HDD, WiFi, 1.3MP webcam, 2450mAh battery and weighs 1.21kg.
If you are curious to know, the HP Mini 5101, the real one has Atom N280, 2MP webcam, a 7200RM HD and a higher capacity battery.
Price of this HP 5101 clone is around $300 US dollar equivalent in Shenzhen China. It is estimated to be available come November.
