HP netbooks to pack new N470 processors

It’s only been a couple of months since the last processor upgrade from Intel and already the chip company is introducing another upgrade to its Pine Trail line. We’ve long suspected this update but they just made it official recently and HP is the first one in line for the new shiny CPUs.

The HP Mini 5102 and 2102 business-oriented netbooks will get the first taste of the 1.83GHz Intel Atom N470 processor. Unfortunately, the upgraded models are still not priced yet and no details of a release date have been given as well. Let’s just hope this update trickles down to the less expensive consumer models of HP.
