HP Releases Update for TouchPad
HP has recently released an update for their HP TouchPad tablets. WebOS 3.0.5 is not a great leap from the former OS as it is only a 0.0.1 difference, however users may still rejoice at the short list of new features offered.
Among such features are improvements in video viewing and web video stability. There is now added support for HTTP live streaming. Also available is an alert for low video quality when the TouchPad detects network problems. People having issues with the current auto-correction now have a toggle that allows for the enabling or disabling of auto-correction. Likewise, there is an option to place a period accessible by double-tapping the spacebar.
Calendar view-switching and event displays are speedier. E-mail scrolling speed has also been improved. In terms of e-mail, attachments are now saved automatically when users save as draft. Users can also see contacts that are online on IM by means of the e-mail app. Sender photos are also now available. As well as HP has made improvement to the handling of music files that are loaded using the USB drive mode.
Minor or not, any update is still an update, and an improvement to the current system. WebOS 3.0.5 is available for interested HP TouchPad users, just select the settings tab and then check for system updates.
