Huawei Readying Its 10″ Tablet to Rival with iPad 3

The China-based company Huawei is getting ready to unveil a new tablet called the MediaPad 10 FHD at this year’s Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Madrid. This announcement follows a recent tie-up between the company and AT&T to release the 4G HSPA+ Huawei MediaPad in the United States.
The Huawei MediaPad 10 FHD is expected to have either NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor or Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 quad-core CPU with a clock speed of 2.5GHz. The display, which would span 10.1 inches, would likely have a Full HD 1920 x 1200 resolution.
Three-Dimension gaming might also be possible given this screen. In addition to these, dual cameras might also be available, with a rear camera having a resolution of at least 8 MP.
With the tablet, Huawei hopes to compete with the tech giant Apple’s newest product, the iPad 3, which is set to be released on March 7th. The iPad 3 is also rumored to have a quad-core processor, a high resolution display, and an 8 MP camera. Thus, if the rumored specifications for the Huawei MediaPad 10 FHD are true, the device could attract many consumers, especially if the price is much lower than the iPad 3’s.
