Indian-Based BSNL to Release New Set of Tablets this Month
The Indian carrier Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has recently confirmed the arrival of its new tablet models in a couple of days. According to a Telecom Advisory Committee with the BSNL general manager GC Pandey, there are new 2G and 3G towers WiMAX to be accessed soon.
The company has three new units to unleash made by Pantel Technologies namely, the Penta TPAD IS701R, Penta TPAD WS704C and Penta TPAD WS804C. All models might have either 7 or 8-inch resistive screens running on Android 2.3 OS.
The cheapest among them is the Penta TPAD IS701R with a price tag of Rs 3250. It features 1 GHz processor and a low 256 MB of DDR2 RAM. It is a 7-incher slate with an 800 x 600 pixel resolution display.
Limited data are there only for the remaining two. This includes their prices of RS 10,999 for Penta TPAD WS704C and Rs 13,500 for Penta TPAD WS804C plus their official launch date–June 15th.
