The EP20 was exhibited during the CeBIT but it was not given too much attention because the Eee PC 900 stole everybody’s attention. Although there was no official announcement yet from Asus if the EP20 was really the desktop version of the Eee PC, the sign on top of the display model during the CeBit bore the taglines -easy to play, easy to learn, easy to work. The mark of the Eee PC.

So while we await the official announcement from Asus, take a gander on the photos of the EP20 (via Matbe) and ponder on the following specs:

  • 1.87GHz Intel dual core processor,
  • a 2.5 inch hard drive not flash memory,
  • Linux operating system and interface you can find on the current generation of Eee PC

The box reminds me of Apple MacBook Minis.

  1. This is the first time I have heard of a device having a lost brother. I think that this report is a bit too much. Anyway, I’m glad to hear that they has reintroduce a this computer which has been forgotten because of the famous Eee PC. This will make the manufacturers very proud because they have done it again.

  2. I think this desktop is not really that bad, for Linux users that desktop is really nice. I think they should promote more PC’s that are designed for Linux so that the prices of OS of windows would hopefully drop.
