iPad pre-orders start this March 12, prepare yourselves

Apple just rolled out some big news at its iPad product page. The online store of the Cupertino company will start accepting pre-orders in the US for the iPad beginning next week on March 12. The WiFi model will be available on April 3 in the US with the entire line being available later the same month. Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland and the UK will also get the iPad, both WiFi and WiFi+3G models, in late April.

US customers can pre-order both models online or reserve a WiFi model for pick up at an Apple retail outlet on April 3. For those countries not on the list, you’ll have to wait for further announcements for availability of the iPad but Apple did mention a full roll out of the iPad by June this year.
