Kindle Fire Users Gearing Up To Switch to iPad 3
TechBargain conducted a survey to assess the general sentiments of the consumers regarding the iPad 3. A total of 1,305 respondents answered the survey.
The survey revealed that more than half of those who bought the Kindle Fire would be buying the iPad 3. On the other hand, more than 50 percent of iPad 2 owners, many of whom also bought the Kindle Fire, would be upgrading to the next-generation iPad.
More males are also likely to buy the iPad 3 than females. Also, five percent of those surveyed are willing to wait in line on the release date, while 17 percent will order the gadget online. The remaining 26 percent haven’t decided on the exact date that they will make the purchase.
The survey respondents also divulged the features they liked best, at least basing from rumors, from the new tablet. 85 percent gave their thumbs up to the quad-core processor; 82 percent to the improved speakers; and 82 percent to the memory card slot. Also among the high-rankers are the less-reflective screen, Siri, Thunderbolt support, and the ability to handle multiple user accounts.
Meanwhile, the new retina display and 4G LTE connectivity, which both attracted attention from tech bloggers, are absent from the list.
