Australian company Kogan was reportedly set to launch a new 10-inch netbook. None other than Kogan founder Ruslan Kogan made the statement during an interview with apcmag.

The said 10-inch Kogan netbook would have most of the standard features of 10-inch netbooks available in the market today. These include an Intel Atom Processor, 160GB hard drive and an upgradeable RAM of 1GB to 2GB.

Unfortunately for Windows XP fan who are eyeing to get this alternative netbook, it will only be available with Linux OS.

Additionally, Kogan is also contemplating on whether to use a 6-cell or 4-cell battery on the said netbook.

And guess what, the said Kogan netbook is being prep up for release in a matter of two weeks.

So, expect another player in the ever expanding netbook market in the coming weeks folks.
