Launch2Net for Linux is Mobile Connection Manager for Linux Eee PCs
For those who have always wanted to connect their Linux-powered Eee PCs to the web using a stand-alone modem or a mobile phone modem, German company Nova Media is offering a new mobile connection manager called “launch2net for Linux”.
What usually takes a long process setting parameters, passwords and all those stuff when trying to use a USB modem to connect your Eee PC to Internet now becomes easier with the said application. All you need to do is plug-in your USB modem to your Eee PC’s USB port and let the application configure your system. Before you know it, you are already connected to the Internet.
Sounds easy? Unfortunately, the application works only with Linux-powered Eee PC . And secondly, it doesn’t come free. You have to buy the software/application for around 25,17 Euro.
It really depends on you whether you want to skip the hassle of setting up your mobile connection setting or pay the price, sit back, relax and enjoy surfing the internet.
