Lenovo Plans to Release a 12-inch Netbook – Ideapad S20
Posted in: Lenovo, Netbook, competitor, tags: ideapad s20We got to give it to the Lenovo people for this strategy. Knowing that rival netbook manufacturers have already saturated the market with their 10-inch netbook, Lenovo want to try a different path. Instead of releasing a 10-inch version of their Ideapad S10 netbook, they are going to launch a 12-inch version instead.
In Intel’s specifications, netbooks should only have as a big as a 10-inch panel size. But Lenovo is really serious and wouldn’t mind paying extra $10 for the standard price of Intel’s N280 Atom processor.
Lenovo said that the Ideapad S20 netbook will most likely cost around $586 when it gets released in the market.
