Lenovo Thinkpad X100e Unboxing Video and Photos

Remember the Lenovo Thinkpad X100e that was displayed during the CES 2010? Well Netboook.net managed to get  a brand new unit and is currently running his first impression report, video and unboxing photos. You know what? We couldn’t help but drool over the fact that the said notebook looks good.

Netbooked.net observed that the Thinkpad X100e’s keyboard has a tiny bit of flex if you press down hard enough. It also has a matte display and Lenovo had gone away with the glossy display common to most netbooks. The Thinkpad X100e also has a slick trackpad and buttons which are quiet and soft to press.

So far, so good, for first impressions, apart from the battery sticking out. At least that makes it easier to slip into a sleeve / case. Keyboard has a tiny bit of flex if you press down hard enough but is not noticeable normally. Love the matte display. Really loving the lack of gloss which plagues most netbooks. Excellent slick trackpad and buttons are quiet and soft to press. All four.

The Lenovo Thinkpad X100 will set you back for $499. For that price, you’ll get the following specs. And watch out for Netbooked.net’s video after the rundown of the specs.
