Lenovo’s UMPC is the 10-inch Ideapad S10
We’ve been telling you about Lenovo’s entry into the netbook market with an 8.9-inch and 10-inch ultra-mobile PCs. PC World has just spec’d the 10-inch Lenovo UMPC which shall be called the Ideapad S10 which is a direct competitor of the MSI Wind and the Eee PC 1000 series.
So, here are more details and specs of Lenovo’s Ideapad S10 UMPC:
- 1.6 GHz Atom N270 processor
- up to 2GB of memory
- Intel 945 GSE Express chipset
- 80/160 GB HDD
- 2 USB ports
- Ethernet
- Webcam
- Headphone Jack
- 4-in-1 card reader
The Lenovo Ideapad S10 will be available in black, white and red. Windows XP version of the Ideapad S10 will be available in the US with an SRP of around $399 and $449. While the Linux version will be available in other countries. At that estimated price, the Lenovo Ideapad S10 will certainly give the MSI Wind and the Asus Eee PC 1000 a stiff competition.
