Lesance NB S3431 / L Ultrabook Now Up in Japan for $725

The new Lesance NB S3431 Ultrabook from Unitcom boasts of having an amazing thinness and price. This laptop, which is currently available only in the Japanese market, sells for only $725 (59980 Yen). As for its thinness, other manufacturers offer thinner devices, although its 19 mm measurement and 1.64kg weight make it fairly thin and light as well.

The Ultrabook is powered by an Intel Core i5 2467M processor running at 1.6 Ghz. It is packed with 4 GB of RAM and a 500 GB Hard Disk Drive with a 64 GB Solid State Disk. Windows 7 Home Premium SP 32bit/64bit is the operating system. For convenience, the device also comes pre-installed with Microsoft’s suite of productivity software, Office Personal 2010.

Its display spans 14 inches, with a pixel resolution of 1366 X 768. For connecting the Ultrabook to other devices, users are provided with 2 USB 2.0 ports, a VGA port, D-Sub port, and a Gigabit Ethernet. There is also a card reader for expansion purposes. Internet connectivity is possible through Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n and LAN.

The device promises a battery life of 5 hours, which has been certified by the JEITA.

The  Lesance NB S3431 Ultrabook has a price tag of $725 and might be made available internationally in the future.
