LG X120 released in US today
Posted in: 10-inch, LG, Netbook, competitor, tags: AT&T, LG, LG X120, radioshack, u.s.LG have now released their first netbook, the LG X120 in the US today. Like we previously said, the netbook will be available from Radio Shack. It’s become clear now, that the netbook will be available from Radio Shack online and selected stores as well as from AT&T stores. No price information for the standalone netbook has been released. The LG X120 can be picked up from AT&T with a data contract. Unfortunately the contract will be more than initially thought. The netbook appears to only be available with the $60 package instead of the $35 package. The contract is for 2 years, which puts the netbook on the pricey side. Hopefully we’ll see it available on the $35 per month package soon. Of course, the higher package does give you much more. You get 5GB of data transfer instead of 200mb and you also get access to 20,000 WiFi Hot Spots for no extra cost.
