We’ve already reported about some third party netbook battery pack which offers extended hours of use for netbooks which are longer than your standard battery pack. Now, guys over at the MSI Wind Forum have spotted that the 9-cell battery we reported not so long ago is already available for sale. The battery pack was tested to give 7.3 hours of usage for the MSI Wind, and that’s under strenous usage with the WiFi switched on. Sounds promising right?

But wait till you hear about the price. Said battery pack which is available at the UK channel of eBay was selling for a whooping $115! Aside from the expensive price, the battery pack is too bulky that it might no give your netbook a good look.

If you need longer hours of usage for you netbook, this might be a good replacement battery pack for you. That is of course if you don’t mind the high price.

One Response to “Long Battery Life for your Netbook Doesn’t Comes Cheap”
  1. My local computer shop told me about a netbook with 10 hours battery life without any external power source. It runs a high efficiency processor chip. Must be better than having to tote a separate power pack.
