Maingear’s Titan 17 Notebook Gained Some Enhancements

Maingear, known for producing custom-built gaming PCs is setting out to make some improvements on its products.
The Titan 17 notebook is getting upgrades for its Central Processing Unit and keyboard. It will switch its Intel i7-990X for the Intel second-generation Extreme Edition i7-3930K or i7-3960X processor. Intel’s multi-core technology will be suitable for their hardcore gaming clients as well as users with heavy demands.
The upgraded Titan 17 also has a new full size backlit keyboard and numeric pad for facility of use in the dark. Its video card remains to be NVIDIA GeForce GTX 580M SLI with 2GB GDDR5 or NVIDIA Quadro 5010M with up to 4GB GDDR5 Graphics memory. This combines the technologies of DirectX11 and NVIDIA PhysX to provide clear and sharp graphics.
The Titan 17 is also equipped with a 17.3-inch Full HD LED-Backlit screen with Super Clear Glare Type Screen, an aspect ratio of 16:9, and a pixel display resolution of 1920×1080.
Its memory, which is up to 32GB Quad Channel DDR3 at 1600/1866Mhz, and hard drive of up to 3x 600GB Solid State Drive or 750GB 7200RPM SATA 2.5, are also optimized for gaming.
The notebook as well has Built-in High-Definition Audio, Blu-ray reader, Built-in Media Card Reader (9-in-1).
The upgraded Titan 17 retails for $3,499 and is now available for pre-order.
