Moblin v2 Alpha 2 introduces bug fixes and enhancements to first alpha version

Introduced in Alpha just before the end of January this year, the Linux-based Moblin 2 OS has just been updated to version 2 with several enhancements and bug fixes. Alas, it still has at least a couple of known issues, which are 3D performance problems and GMA500 graphics chipset incompatibility, but if you can somehow bypass those with your netbook (not all netbooks are powered by the Intel GMA500 chipset, for example), then you can go ahead and give Moblin 2 a spin. This has been tested to work on the Acer Aspire One, Asus Eee PC 901, and Dell Mini 9. Now, there’s added support for the MSI Wind. The Alpha release and pre-built images are available via the links below.
