More than 20 Windows 8 tablets on the way
There’s already a plethora of tablets on the market. The majority however run on Android, minus the iPad. Later this year however, there will be even more tablets to choose from. According to Paul Otellini, Intel’s chief executive there are more than 20 Windows 8 tablet designs being worked on. Otellini noted that Intel are tracking tablet designs based on the low-cost and low-power Clover Trail Atom SoC.
With Windows 8 only being a few months away now, we’re sure to hear of more manufacturers confirming their entry into the Windows 8 tablet market. Will you be picking up a Windows 8 tablet, or are you happy with your Android powered tablet or iPad?
