Motorola DROID XYBOARD Tablets Getting Android 4.0.4 Update by Verizon

Owners of Motorola XYBOARD 10.1 and Motorola XYBOARD 8.2 Wi-Fi only have something to rejoice about. They will be receiving Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich updates for these two tablets. While just a few days earlier, ASUS North America announced on its Facebook Page that they will be having a Jelly Bean update for the ASUS Transformer Pad TF300.

The update on these Motorola tablets may not bet as good as the Jelly Bean update, but the Android 4.0 Ice Cream upgrade has as well a lot of features to boast of too. It has the Face-unlock feature, that helps you unlock your tablet using your state of the art facial recognition technology.

You can take a picture of your face and it will use it to recognize your face to unlock you tablet. Type with your voice feature, lets you dictate emails or text instead of typing it. Will have quicker screen rotation, also has improved text input and spell Keyboard typing is more accurate, thus making text inputs faster.

There is also a new setting for locking the device, you can enter a pin or a pattern to unlock or set a timer for it to go to sleep.
