Motorola XOOM 2 and XOOM 2 Media Edition Finally Landed in Turkey

Motorola’s new added products are now officially unhampered, yet fall shortly from the expectations of many. The company aptly-named XOOM 2 and XOOM 2 Media Edition tablets have reached as far as Turkey today.

The XOOM 2 is a 10.1-incher tablet while the XOOM 2 Media Edition has an 8.2-inch panel. They possessed dual-core 2.2 GHz processors and equipped with 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB to 32 GB of internal storage space. For high-quality displays, they’re covered by Corning Gorilla Glass, a splashguard coating for the 10-inch slate and special flattened edges for easier holding.

Also the slates are spiced up with a long-lasting battery which could cater around 10 hours of work time or 1 month standby. They featured a pair of cameras, 1.3 MP at front and 5 MP at rear.

Moreover, supported by adaptive virtual surround sound with multiple speakers and booming bass and have connectivity functions such as USB port, Ethernet link Wi-Fi and 3G, these tablets are presented business ready and come pre-loaded with various applications.

Although the devices have been anticipated with an Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Operating System, the release came with an earlier version, the Android 3.2 Honeycomb, which most of the consumers wouldn’t expect of.

These tablets are now being offered by Turk Telecom, TTNet and Avea channels on monthly data plan for 39 Turkish Lira or about 16.55 Euros.
