Mouse Computer from Japan is showcasing its new device, the LB-D704S notebook. Featuring a 17.3-inch Full High Definition LCD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080p, the device is capable of producing high quality images and text.
It runs on an Intel Core i7-2670QM processor with a frequency of 2.2 GHz under the hood. This works alongside an NVIDIA GeForce GT540M 1GB GPU. This combination is able to provide fast computing speeds and a high graphics performance, while ensuring a long battery life. Among the features of the GPU are CUDA, 3D vision, DirectX 11, PhysX, and Optimus.
There is also 8 GB of DDR3 RAM and a 500 GB hard disk drive. Consumers have an option among Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit, Windows 7 Professional 64 bit, and Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit for its operating system. Microsoft Office Personal 2010 is also available on this notebook.
The device is also equipped with a Blu-ray optical drive and a multi-card reader. Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 3.0 + HS are the connectivity options available. Users may connect the notebook to other devices via two USB 2.0 ports, 2 USB 3.0 ports, an HDMI port, and eSATA.
The LB-D704S sells for 77,700 Yen or around US$936.
