MSI Releases Three Touchscreen PCs or Nettops into the Wild

After battling it out in the netbook arena, both Asus and MSI are not bringing their rivalry into the all-in-one touchscreen PC market. For MSI’s part, it’s first salvo is not just one but three new all-in-one touchscreen PCs which they call as the Neton M16, M19 and M22. Pardon the similarity of the branding to a gun type, but we’re pretty sure that MSI is not into gun trade yet.
Anyway, according to a report by the Chinese version of Engadget, MSI has just launched the said Netons in Taiwan. Basically these three netons are similar in terms of specs and features. Their only difference is the size of the LCD. The M16 has a 15.6-inch display with 1366×768 resolution, the M19 has an 18.5-inch display with 1366 x 768 resolution also, and the M22 obviously has a 22-inch display with 1920×1080 resolution. For specs, not much specs is not aside from the fact that all nettops will have an ATOM CPU and would have XP Home Edition for its OS. We’ve also noticed that there seems to be a Blu-ray feature.
All these nettops will be available sometime in early 2009 with retail prices which range from $400 to $800.
