We’ve already known that MSI is prepping its MSI Wind 2 models and it’s projected delivered date was previously reported to be in December.  We also knew from previous reports that it will have a built-in 3G module, 1GB of RAM, 120GB of HDD and will run on Windows XP.

But since, Asustek is already prepping up its own premier netbook, the Eee PC S101, this might have prompted MSI to release their second generation MSI Wind to as early as November. The said MSI Wind U120 shall retail for around $552.

In a related report, MSI was said to have no plans of coming up with their own touchscreen MSI Wind despite rumors that Asus is planning to come up with touchscreen versions of the Eee PC. This is due to the high cost of making such netbooks.
