MSI Wind U100 PLUS makes an official appearance with Intel’s N280 Atom processor

MSI Wind U100 PLUS
Just like how Acer is sticking to the “One” moniker for their netbooks, it looks like MSI is going to keep holding on to their Wind line of 10-inch screen-equipped mobile computing machines. The Taiwanese outfit has just launched what it calls the MSI Wind U100 PLUS, a new version of the old MSI Wind that comes with an Intel Atom N280 processor.

The rest of its specs are just about what you’d expect from a Wind netbook, which means it has a 160GB hard drive, GMA 950 graphics, support for up to 2GB of RAM, built-in Bluetooth, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, 1.3 megapixel webcam, 4-in-1 card reader and choices of either 3-cell of 6-cell batteries.

The MSI Wind U100 PLUS will be available in the usual white, black and red colors, and this time it can also be bought in Rose Champagne (pink) and Metallic Blue. MSI didn’t announce this netbook’s official release date and price, but it does look interesting for now (if you don’t already have an MSI Wind or similar netbook model, that is).
