NEC Lavie gets Pine Trail update

The Pine Trail upgrade wave is slowly coming to other netbook manufacturers. NEC from Japan is adding the new processor to its Lavie Light netbook line. Here are the specs of the new models:

BL530/WH6B

• Intel Atom 1.66GHz N450 GMA 3150
• 1366 x 768 10.1″ display
• 2GB RAM
• 320GB HDD
• Windows 7 Home Premium
• 6-cell battery (7.6 hours battery life)
• 1.36kg

BR340/WD

• Intel Atom 1.66GHz N450 GMA 3150
• 1024 x 600 10.1″ display
• 1GB RAM
• 250GB HDD
• Windows 7 Starter
• 3-cell battery (4.1 hours battery life)
• 1.17kg

The latter is the lower end Light Lui model. Both models come in black, white, red and bronze and are available in Japan only.
