NEC to Unleash LifeTouch L Android Tablets

Two new NEC Android tablets are yet to be unveiled—one is business-focused while the second is targeted for personal use.

Few more weeks are there for NEC to finally launch these LifeTouch L tablets.  For personal use slate specifically, it is anticipated to land in the mobile market this coming July 5th. While the business unit on the other hand is expected to arrive during the late part of July.

Pricing details aren’t available yet, but there’s some info regarding the specs however. Actually, there’s no significant difference between the two tablets except for its memory capacity. The slate focused on personal use can either have 16 GB or 32 GB while for the business-related tablet only has 16 GB available however.

Other details include a total weight of 549g having a profile of 7.99mm thin. Display is within 10.1-inch IPS LCD touchscreen with 1280 x 800-pixel resolution. It  runs on a 1.5G Hz dual-Core TI OMAP4460 processor.

There is 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi with 5 GHz band support and as well with USB support. Both are operating under Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS and have a battery life reaching around 13 hours for web surfing while 10 hours when watching videos.
