Neo Explore X1 Gets Updated to the Neo Vivid v1100

Remember that Neo Explore X1 netbook we featured a long time ago which was actually the Intel Classmate PC rebranded for the Philippine market. NEO, the manufacturer of the said PC, has come up with a new version of the said netbook and even rebranded it as the Neo Vivid v1100.

The Neo Vivid v1100 is obviously powered now by an Atom processor and will retail for around $500. Buyers can up the RAM into 2GB for an additional $20.

Here’s a quick rundown of what you’re going to get for around $520.

  • 1.6 GHz processor
  • 1GB of RAM
  • 120GB of SATA HDD
  • Wi-Fi
  • 3-in-1 card reader
  • webcam
  • 8.9-inch display screen (1024×600)

Bad news is, the Neo Vivid v1100 doesn’t have an installed OS. It comes with a 30-day trial version of Windows XP only.
