Netbooks Attacks the Amazon Market
It will only be a matter of time before our traditional notebooks are wiped out from face of the consumer PC market. Everybody seems to be so into netbooks lately that 9 out 10 most popular laptops in Amazon are netbooks. The remaining slot filled up by a notebook belongs to Apple’s 13.3-inch MacBook.
Yes folks, we might be seeing the demise of the notebook PCs right infront of us. Contrary to a Digitimes report where it claims the the boundaries between notebooks and netbooks may disappear in 2009, it looks like it’s not the boundaries, but the notebooks who might disappear soon.
Well, if we will take into account this Amazon listing.
Anyway, going to the Amazon listing for the most popular laptops, we are looking at the Acer Aspire One Sapphire Blue model, finally beating the Eee PC. The A1 is sitting comfortably at the number one spot, closely followed by the Eee PC 1000H 80GB model, MSI Wind U100, Eee PC 1000H with 160GB storage then going back to Aspire One again only this time it’s the Whiteversion.
Completing the cast of Amazon’s top 10 list of laptops are; the MacBook, Aspire One with 8GB SSD, Eee PC 900, MSI Wind with 120GB SSD, and the Aspire One with 160GB hard drive.
