New Acer Aspire One 571 Spotted in the Wild

Before you continue reading this post, we want you to take a closer look at the photo of the Aspire One 571 above. Notice anything peculiar about it? Yes, you guess it right. It’s pretty obvious what were talking about, the box on the left side of the track pad is something unusual. Any idea what it is? Well, according to reliable source from the blog Macles, that square is a mini optical drive. A Vmedia Blu-ray disc to be specific about it.
Aside from that Vmedia Blu-ray disc, the Acer Aspire One 751 also stands out from the rest of the Aspire One models by its other noteworthy features including 720p viewing display, and Quartics Q1721 Multimedia Coprocessor which acclerates decoding and encoding(!) of H.264 and other codecs.
No words yet on pricing and release date, but the Aspire One 571 is seemingly the same as the Aspire One 751.
