New iLet Mini Tablet from Haleron reminds me of a chunky iPhone

I think you would agree with me that the new tablet being introduced by Haleron is awfully familiar. The iLet Mini is a cheap, low-powered tablet for us unwashed masses who can’t afford the whopping iPad price tag.

iLet Mini

  • 7″ 800 x 480 touchscreen
  • 300MHz ARM processor
  • 128MB RAM
  • 2GB flash storage
  • Windows CE 6.0 or Linux
  • 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth (optional), LAN
  • 2 x USB 2.0, mic and headphone ports
  • SDHC card slot (up to 16GB)
  • GPS (optional)
  • 7.4″ x 4.5″ x 0.9″
  • 2200mAh battery (4 hour battery life) or 3300mAh battery (8 hour battery life)

I think you should delegate this to a media player with that processor. A bit disappointing on the storage end since most MP3 players pack more disk space than that. The bezel, silver trim and home button are clearly taken from the iPhone and Apple might have a word or two to say about that.

The up side is the price is just a mere $149, but you do get what you pay for. Hit up the link below to their official site to order.
