New Samsung Chromebook for $249; with 3G for $329.99

The new Samsung Chromebook is now available for pre-order for $249 (Wi-Fi-only model). But for $80 more, you can get the 3G model. The 3G Chromebook comes with 2 years of up to 100MB of free data per month from Verizon.

Google is giving Chromebook buyers 100GB of cloud storage for 2 years. On top of that, Verizon is giving the 3G model buyers 100MB of free 3G data per month for 2 years.

The Samsung Chromebook features an 11.6 inch, 1366 x 768 pixel display, a Samsung Exynos 5 dual-core ARM Cortex-A15 processor, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of storage. It measures about 0.7 inches thick and weighs 2.4 pounds. The notebook features a USB 2.0 port, a USB 3.0 port, HDMI output, SD card slot, Bluetooth 3.0, 802.11n WiFi, and a 30 Whr, 6.5 hour battery. Samsung Chromebookruns Google’s Chrome OS operating system.
