NewEgg sells Asus Eee PC 1201T without an OS for cheap

One after the other, Asus has started sending their new netbooks out to the world. It started with the Eee PC T101MT and through NewEgg, they’re also selling a barebones Asus Eee PC 1201T.

The online retailer is selling it for just US$389.99 bundled with Asus’ instant-on OS, Express Gate, but no other operating systems included not even Linux.

Oddly enough, this baby has been available in my part of the globe for sometime now but not there in the US. Some of the features you might like that come with this bundle of joy are the AMD Athlon Neo CPU with ATI Radeon graphics, 2GB RAM and 6-hour battery.
