Next-Gen MacBook Pro to Have Retina Display
Where else would the great news always come from other than Apple? This time, their laptops are about to come with “Retina” displays. It means that there would be a great difference of the screen pixels if seen up close or at arm’s length.
The other side of it, good news can’t always be good news as this “Retina” display doesn’t come cheap. The first one from Apple with 220 pixels per inch would take record as the next-generation MacBook Pro. In only a matter of 15-inch laptop dimension, it stretches more with the price starting around $2199.
But of course the price wouldn’t be that high just for the display specs. It runs at 2.3 GHz Intel Core i7 quad-core processor, NVIDIA GeForce GT650M graphics, an 8GB of RAM plus a 256 GB Solid State Disk. All these are encased in 0.71 inches thick with a weight less than 4.5 pounds. The battery life on the other hand seems to be not a problem since it is capable to withstand for as long as long 7 hours.
Along with this is as well the revelation of the new MacBook Air models priced initially at $999. However, no high-resolution displays is there to offer yet.
