Nexus 7 Tablet Could Get 3G Connectivity Soon
Those who have been wishing that the Nexus 7 tablet will have 3G connectivity might finally get their wish fulfilled. It is rumored that the Nexus 7 tablet will be getting this feature soon.
The Nexus 7 tablet from Google is undoubtedly one of the hottest devices to arrive in the past few months. Google and Asus had been successful in crafting a device that combines functionality, speed, and an affordable price.
However, while the device had gained many positive reviews, it had also received some criticism for its lack of several features. Among these are a rear camera, a micro SD card slot, and of course, support for 3G connectivity. Previously, the Nexus 7 tablet only offered Wi-Fi connectivity which irked some consumers who had been hoping for a truly portable device that does not rely on Wi-Fi signals to be enjoyed.
According to the rumors, the 3G model that Google is preparing will be ready in around six weeks. This could, however, raise the price of the device. Also, it is speculated that the improved Nexus will not have many changes from the former in terms of its hardware.
The leaked information does not specify when the exact launch date of the new Nexus will be or where Google will be making it available.
