Now You Can Play Graphics Intensive PC Games on the Eee PC

You read it right folks. Some crazy coders managed to device a way for us mere mortal owners of the Eee PC to play advanced graphics-intensive PC game-say the likes of Crysis, CoD4, Half-Life 2 and Bioshock. Thanks to StreamMyGame even our lowest of the Linux-powered Eee PC 701 can now act as our portable PSP like gaming machine.

Best of all, you don’t have to worry about consuming your Eee PC’s storage devices just to play those games. The Games are installed and run on a regular high-capacity, fast-processing PCs and stream remotely to the Eee PC 700. And don’t worry about streaming lag, because StreamMyGame promises no delays whenever you are playing those games on your PCs. Just make sure that you stay connected all through out the games.

    This is really cool!

    I have a stable 100Mbit connection at home that is just aching to be used so I’d love to be able to play games on a netbook like this. Great idea!

    ah, it only works over LAN I now see. But regardless, it is just a matter of time before this is available over WAN too. People wouldn’t need to buy graphics cards. And the game manufacturers wouldn’t have to worry about piracy since everyone would be streaming their games.
