Nuovii Technology M75: A Chinese Tablet Running on Android

A China-based company called Nuovii has come up with a new Android device called the Nuovii Technology M75 tablet. Nuovii is an electronics company that also makes Android phones, dual SIM phones, tri SIM phones, for the many who may be unfamiliar with its name.

The slate comes with Android 2.3 Gingerbread and runs on a 1 GHz Infotmic X220 processor and 256 MB or 512 MB of DDR3 RAM. 4 GB of Nand Flash memory provide storage, but there are other flavors offering 8 GB and 16 GB capacities.

Meanwhile, its TFT LCD screen is of the resistive type and measures 7 inches diagonally. Its resolution is 800 x 480 pixels and it is able to detect 2-point multi touch gestures. The tablet also carries support for HTML5 browsing and Flash 11.1. To give users a better picture, its dimensions are 198 x 127 x 16.5 mm.

No word is available regarding its expected price. However, the specifications of the device being on the low end, it is likely slated to cost around $100. Its target is possibly those who are simply curious about the current tablet craze, as specs like these are not apt to impress many, especially in the face of tablets with decent specs that have roughly the same price.

Also, tablets like these are often bought by European companies seeking to have devices to rebrand with their own name.
