NVIDIA Tegra 4 Chip Leaked For Non-iOS Tablets
According to a Chinese website, VR-ZONE, another firmware will be launched by NVIDIA, the Tegra 4 by 2013. What’s new with this, is that the A15 chip processor will make the device work even faster.
The much improved Tegra 4 will run an A15 chip processor, officially called the Cortex A15. Compared to the A9 chip processor of Tegra 2 and Tegra 3, the Cortex A15 aids to improve a longer battery life and to make quad-core tablets even faster. It also speeds up the device from 1.2 up to 2.0GHz. It gets better with the future improvements in adding the SP3X chip which is labeled to have LTE 4G connectivity as well.
The ASUS Transformer contains four NVIDIA Tegra 3 Cortex-A9s which makes it to have a pretty fast processor for a tablet. On the other hand, NVIDIA is also aiming at both Android and the latest Windows 8, hence, beyond imaginative experience for tablets is expected.
By the first four months of 2013, the Tegra 4 Cortex A15 will appear in one of the future 10-inch tablets, while other version of Tegra 4 will be present in other devices by the third quarter of next year.
