O2 finally starts offering Samsung notebooks with data plan

As expected, O2 UK has finally launched its own free netbook/cheap laptop data plan bundle, and new subscribers can avail immediately of the offer. In total, O2 UK will give customers a choice between three laptops, but these only come in two models. One is the Samsung NC10, which has been hailed by many as the best netbook ever (before the Asus Eee PC 1000HE), and then there’s the Samsung R510 (and a “multimedia version” of the same).

The basic data plan comes with 3GB of download and costs £30 per month, with which either the Samsung NC10 or R510 can be availed for free. A £40 per month plan is also available and gives 10GB download, and both plans last two years on contract.
